Corn Dogs

  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup 2% milk
  • 10 hot dogs
  • oil
  • 10 popsicle sticks

Mix dry together well, add in beaten egg, milk. Mix till combined! Heat up oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Take a tall cup and pour batter in , this makes it easier to dip the hot dog and evenly coat with batter. Cook hot dog in batter for about 3 minutes or until golden brown!. Transfer to a plate with a paper towel to catch extra grease!
