Jalapeno Popper Chicken Casserole

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 pound fresh jalapenos (about 5 to 6)
  • 4oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crispy bacon crumbled

Preheat oven at 375

Put chicken breasts flat in a dish, season them with garlic powder then spread the cream cheese over them evenly

Wash and cut the jalapenos. Remove seed and stems if you want them more milder. Cut into stips and lap them on top of the cream cheese.

Bake for 40 to 45 mins , remove from oven 5 minutes before to sprinkle the bacon on. Chicken is done when the internal temp is 165.

Serve warm!
